With old failing restorations, a significant reverse smile line and lack of anterior guidance, this patient Linda pursued treatment for aesthetic and functional reasons. Dr. Paul Biederman, of Anchorage, Alaska created a comprehensive treatment plan that addressed both the functional occlusion issues. With the expertise of Gold Dust Dental Lab ideal aesthetics were also achieved. Dr. Biederman prepared Linda’s teeth for 10 maxillary Empress Esthetic porcelain restorations and restored 2 mandibular canines with E.max to re-establish anterior guidance. With the artistic talent of Gold Dust’s aesthetic team led by Rob Maatta, the results achieved were superb. This smile design and collaborative approach that Gold Dust takes to every case, shows the ability to make each doctor’s vision a reality.
This particular case, is just one of ten completed in November 2008 at the Hornbrook Group Live Patient programs which Gold Dust has had the privilege to support live patient education for over 10 years. Advanced education differentiates clinicians and their expertise and Gold Dust continues the advancement of techniques, materials and patient care by hosting a series of world class clinicians with the new Gold Dust Clinical Mastery Series.
